Dzaki Safaruan (b. 1989)
Born and based in Singapore
Dzaki started out with printmaking but has since adopted a multi-disciplinary approach by deconstructing everyday ‘objects’.
He received his Bachelor’s (Hons) in Fine Art from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in partnership with Loughborough University, UK. His art is a constant exploration of the deconstruction of the mundane which involves a mix of spirituality, comic book culture and wordplay.
Dzaki is currently working at the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum, where he assists in the curation of its gallery and natural history collections.
